Machine learning based analysis of the photographs of corona crises

The project will use machine learning to analyze the “visual orders” corona crisis has produced. The research material consists of journalistic photos published in Helsingin Sanomat during February-August 2020. Findings will be compared to the photos published in the previous year. The project will explore how the social distancing and various phases of this crisis are reflected in the material.
