Short-form videos as young Finns’ news source

The research explores what makes journalistic short-form videos interesting and persuasive for young Finnish adults. It will investigate several video sharing applications. Young demographics are avid users of short-form video, but they rarely use it for news. The availability of journalistic short-form video is still expanding, and even traditional media institutions like the BBC, Washington Post, Yle, and Helsingin Sanomat have begun utilizing it.
